Craft, Creativity and Cake

Part of our philosophy is to try to help the world be a better, happier place so we like to do our bit for local and international charities.

Esther and Peter have spent quite a bit of time living in Africa..... mainly watching elephants but that's another story.....and as such they have enjoyed the hospitality of local people which is why they continue to sponsor a boy called Wilson through his education.

Wilson is now 16 years old and hopes to be a doctor. He comes from a poor, remote, village in the Mountains of the Moon or the Rwensori Mountains in Uganda on the boarders of the Congo.

Here in Britain Esther and her family organise fundraising events for Marie Curie Nurses and The Eve Appeal (Ovarian cancer charity).

Our last event was a Vintage Tea Party 25th March 2012 for Ovarian Cancer!
