We all need to stop for a while and take time to relax and reflect... and what better way than spending time in nature.
What happens?
Essentially retreats are organised so that you can spend time just enjoying the pause.... walking and being in nature, reflecting, meditating and visualising, with time to talk or to be silent.
I run two types of retreat one involves arts and creativity as a means of expressing a thought or emotion and the other is simply walking, being quiet in nature with short, meditative, visualisations to help reflect about you and your life.
During a creative self development workshops I guide you through an activity or a number of activities using nature as inspiriation.... But it's not about making finished articles - we use the process of creativity to release our minds and bodies and make the most of our time in nature.
The workshops are friendly, informal spaces to breath, relax and engage your creative side.
All the materials are supplied and we always have homemade, organic lunch as well as cake and tea....
Sometimes we might do some creative writing to sum up the day....here's a beautiful poem written by a group.....
Calming nature
Feeling fresh air, birds singing and cold cheeks
Free spirit, thinking of nothing
And with nothing came peace
A stillness in my heart
And beautiful thoughts in silence
With no stress or noise and clear blue skies
Just the sound of the wind, the birds singing
To be, and listen
To my truth.
